The Cypress Village / Eagleridge lands proposal

Public Meeting: Wednesday, May 22 @ 6 p.m. West Van municipal hall

Since 2018, one of the most exciting new projects in West Vancouver has been the Cypress Village and Eagleridge lands proposal. The Cypress Village development would create a new, mixed-use, sustainable urban community in the upperlands along Cypress Bowl Road. The agreement simultaneously protects 262 acres of pristine land in neighbouring Eagleridge for the enjoyment of all West Vancouver residents. The Eagleridge land, currently owned by British Pacific Properties, would pass into West Vancouver’s ownership forever under an agreement to transfer its development potential to Cypress Village. The Eagleridge land is currently owned by British Pacific Properties and is zoned for single-family development.

Proposed Cypress Village and new protected land in Eagleridge

A public information meeting will provide an overview of the proposed plan on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 6–8 p.m. at West Van municipal hall. The proposal will come before West Van council for a decision on Monday, June 3.

To learn more about this new development, please read the proposal and attend the information meeting on May 22 or the Council meeting on June 3.
