With just a few days remaining of the public engagement on the future of Ambleside, Positive Voices urges everyone to make their voices heard in the local area plan (LAP) engagement.
To help residents better understand the issues Positive Voices teamed up with North Shore Community Resources to present a panel discussion which included:
Murray Mollard (chair), Executive Director, North Shore Community Resources;
Marta Farevaag, a distinguished urban planner who’s worked on many projects including National Historic Sites Rideau Hall and Parliament Hill;
Andy Krawczyk, longtime West Van engaged citizen and member of the North Shore Community Housing Action Committee (CHAC);
Alex Boston, former Director of SFU’s Renewable Cities program.
Watch a video of the meeting and then send your comments to the LAP engagement team (link below).
Please note: this was an independently-organized opportunity to learn more about the background to the LAP, and not part of the District of West Vancouver’s engagement.
