Watch our ‘LAP 101’, then have your say

  • Municipal Hall 750 17th Street West Vancouver, BC, V7V 3T3 Canada (map)

With just a few days remaining of the public engagement on the future of Ambleside, Positive Voices urges everyone to make their voices heard in the local area plan (LAP) engagement.

To help residents better understand the issues Positive Voices teamed up with North Shore Community Resources to present a panel discussion which included:

  • Murray Mollard (chair), Executive Director, North Shore Community Resources;

  • Marta Farevaag, a distinguished urban planner who’s worked on many projects including National Historic Sites Rideau Hall and Parliament Hill;

  • Andy Krawczyk, longtime West Van engaged citizen and member of the North Shore Community Housing Action Committee (CHAC);

  • Alex Boston, former Director of SFU’s Renewable Cities program.

Watch a video of the meeting and then send your comments to the LAP engagement team (link below).

Please note: this was an independently-organized opportunity to learn more about the background to the LAP, and not part of the District of West Vancouver’s engagement.

PLEASE NOTE - You have until May 31st 2023 to submit your thoughts.

You can send your comments on the LAP to district staff by email (click on the button below) or by calling 604-921-3459.
