Events alert: Affordable housing, seniors’ health expo
Register today for housing at Kiwanis Village West
Apply for below-market rental suites for families and working people at the recently built Kiwanis Village West project. Kiwanis Village West is a new purpose-built rental project designed to serve the West Vancouver Community by providing affordable units for moderate-income families and those working in West Vancouver. Kiwanis Village West, is ahead of schedule and looking to welcome its first residents as early as December 1st, 2025.
The below-market rentals are reserved for people who have connections to West Van, including those who live there, work there or have kids in school there. Priority access will be for police, firefighters, school staff and municipal workers. Apply if you meet the following criteria:
Have you or at least one member of your household resided in West Vancouver for at least 12 months sometime in the past?
Are you or at least one member of your household employed in West Vancouver?
Is a member of your household enrolled in a school within the boundaries of the District of West Vancouver?

North Shore seniors’ Health Expo - it’s free!
The seventh annual North Shore Seniors’ Health Expo, kicks off on Friday, June 6, featuring exhibitors, innovative speakers and researchers focusing on cognitive, physical, social, financial and nutritional well-being.
The goal of this event is to provide helpful information for seniors, family members, and caregivers and to highlight opportunities and services for seniors living on the North Shore and in Vancouver. The expo will host over 50 exhibitors highlighting resources and services on the North Shore available to seniors, family members, and caregivers.
